JDTI was established to impart high level of education and training
to its students and improve on the art of Jewellery Designing &

is located in Noida, which is well-developed satellite town near Delhi.
The campus is 10 kms away from the main commercial center of Delhi
that is Connaught Place, 5 kms away from South Delhi and only 1 km
from East Delhi. Noida is very well connected by public transport
from all the areas in Delhi.

in the residential area, around the campus. The housing facility is
available both for boys and girls, and most of the apartments/paying

students enrolled at JDTI are staying in paying guest accommodations
as well as individual apartments in the surrounding residential areas.

JDTI provide any placements at the end of the course?
placement assistance to the students graduating from the 1 year-Certificate
course and 2 year-Diploma course. The students on course completion
choose between joining the industry as permanent employment basis
and working as freelance / part time Jewellery designers. Some students
also opt to setup their own units. JDTI provides guidance to students
opting to setup their own manufacturing units. Students of JDTI have
worked with top names in the Jewellery industry - P.P. Jewellers,
Dwarka's, Celeste', Inter Gold, Uni-Design, Enchante', Mehrasons and
Adamus among others.
JDTI impart industrial exposure during the course?
training is provided to the students enrolled for the 2 Year Diploma
course only. The duration of the internship is 6-8 weeks. Students
need to meet the minimum requirements set by JDTI for internship.
In the past the students of JDTI have done internship with the following
Uni-Design, Intergold India Ltd., Gemplus, Adamus, Gili, Eurogold
Jewellery Ltd, Titan Industries Ltd., Dwarka's, Khanna Jewellers,
Carbon, Tribhuvandas Bhimji Zaveri-Mumbai, Punjab Jewellers (Trust),
Gee's, N.M. Karel & Sons, Bholasons, Gosil Exports, Ganjam Nagappa
& Sons and Hazoorilal & sons among others.
can I do after completing 2-year diploma course?
at JDTI extensively covers all aspects of the Jewellery
industry. Therefore, professionally you can work in the industry as
a Designer, join the Manufacturing section, Retailing department and
even specialize in Gemology and deal with identification and grading
of various precious stones and diamonds. You can work with any of
the established brand names, Jewellery manufactures, exporters and
merchandisers or choose to free lance or opt for setting up your own
Design Studio and workshop.
can I do at the end of the distance-learning programme?
JDTI distance learning programme we have designed your journey in
such a way that you learn in the shortest possible period the key
essentials required to be able to function smoothly in the Jewellery
industry. You will be able to understand the market, identify the
consumer needs, visualize ideas to suit the demands and create impressive
presentations to communicate the end product to the client. Professionally,
you can work as a Jewellery designer, freelance or opt for starting
your own Design Studio.
